“Going down the memory lane, it seems that Yash Memorial school has been rooted in my growth. Facing countless ups and downs financially, this school has always stood-up for me and my brother, who also passed out from here.

The environment here has it’s own serenity. Participating in various co-curricular activities not only built my skills but also helped me in making many special memories. I would like to give a special mention to Mrs.Tanima Kundu ma’am for her constant faith in me. It wouldn’t be too much to say that I am what I am today, because of what she made of me. But I will always be grateful to all the teachers for making me an outstanding individual. It is solely because of their belief in me and their unending guidance, today I’m proud to say that I am an Occupational Therapist- helping in regaining independence to disabled persons in their lives. Currently I’m pursuing my master’s degree in the above mentioned field. It is true when they say “School makes you from ‘Nothing’ to ‘Something’. It gives me immense pleasure to say, that today I am ‘Something’!!”

“Namaste!! This is Amrita Singh from 2006-2010 batch and it is my immense pleasure to share my academic experience. YMS is extraordinarily special to me as it is more than just an educational hub. It has nurtured us into fine, respectable and virtuous citizens. Determined faculties were always the greatest strength of YMS and our future as well. Their subtle way of encouraging me into extracurricular activities has always boosted my confidence level, enhanced my communication and management skills also. Sometimes teachers were like parents to us because of their love, care and supporting nature. Being an anchor to head Girl and involvement in many activities has made my academics brighter. I am really grateful to my talented loving classmates whose presence was ecstatic. I would like to thank my absolutely fantastic teachers- Tanima ma’am, Bani ma’am, Rawat ma’am, Das Sir and Roopali ma’am, for their outstanding teaching, motivation and support.

I am a Software Developer by profession and currently a proud mom of twin girls (6months old).

Achievements can be numerous but what really matters is your journey and those incredible persons whose support and love made you a fine person. Ultimately I would like to pay my gratitude to our Chairman Sir Mr Bhaduria whose great efforts and blessings are nurturing many bright talents to pursue their dream.
